Us
Sunny
Yates
is a founding partner in effective environments. She is a management
consultant and executive coach, with experience in nonprofit management,
small business development and commercial law. She has coached managers,
business owners and individuals committed to breakthroughs in productivity
and effectiveness for 18 years. Her coaching focuses on empowering
her clients to be self-generating in applying fundamental principles
for effectiveness and to design and use practices that support achieving
extraordinary results.
Sunny
has developed numerous programs that dramatically increase effectiveness
and productivity at both personal and organizational levels. She
has authored or co-authored more than 30 articles on subjects such
as effectiveness, coaching, time management, project management,
clutter management and daily steps to productivity. She is a co-creator
of the audio tape, "Being Effective: Fulfilling Your Dreams."
She has led workshops for thousands of people across the United
States.
Sunny
is a former lawyer and law professor who practiced corporate and
consumer law for four years and taught commercial law for ten years.
She also served six years as a Senior Manager for the US office
of The Global Hunger Project, an international, strategic nonprofit
corporation dedicated to ending world hunger. There she was accountable
for volunteer training and development, community education and
outreach, corporate fund-raising and event production. She has also
held numerous positions on nonprofit Boards of Directors.
Sunny
is a member of the Personnel Association of Sonoma County, BoardSource,
and the California Association of Nonprofits.
